Bonnie Mae Update!

Miss Bonnie is doing so well! She is such a sweetheart! She loves to be loved and she loves to be spoiled... She even likes to be dressed up! lol :) After her heart worm treatment Im going to dress her up and have a little photo-shoot. It is going to be really cute. She just stands there and lets you move her legs around to get the sweater on her... She is a nut. The sweater was donated to her little shaky bones by my neighbor/ & friend Mrs. Jenne. She is awesome!! Im going to back track just a bit just so you know where we started so you can get the whole picture. She really has just blossomed even in this short amount of time. So day one at the Carrington Zoo was A NIGHTMARE! Im not even going to try to sugar coat it.. She was scared, she had been washed and she did not like my dogs even looking at her. You may have read in my previous blog that I head so much growling that I made myself think I heard it (lol) even when there wasn't any going on! Maybe im just borderline crazy!!!! oh well! Day two we did a little better I still had to keep her separated from my puppies to make her feel more comfortable! She is Princess Bonnie Mae :)I want even get into the fun parties she threw on her own this weekend. But just let me say that this poor baby girl is terrified to death of being locked up. I learned my lesson the HARD way!!! he he he. Thanks Bonnie you could have told me this.. If only these guys could talk. Wouldn't that be cool! Then we could have laid it all on the table at the very beginning. Oh well a girl can dream right.!!! Well so today is Day 5, and she doesn't have to be separated at all. She goes out with all my other kids sleeps with them! Plays with them. Its so awesome to see that only after 5 days of tender loving care she is completely comfortable and being herself. I got to take down my baby/ doggie gate so all 5 of them now have free rein on my bedroom. Which my little puggies love I think they live on my bed! Last night I had 3 dogs in my bed!!!!! Oh and a sick 5 year old! It was a really interesting night. :)We are working on sitting when she gets a treat.. She kind of looks at me like im crazy...."Hello no comprende your english" Like I said we are working on it. She is awesome on a leash, she doesn't pull at all. I actually had the guts enough to let her off the other day and she loved just running around. Then last night I introduced her to my cat. Sammie wasn't happy but Bonnie did pretty well. We still have some work to do on that too! but considering its only been 5 days Im so impressed! She is such an awesome dog. She is fitting right in. She is great with kids, Awesome with other dogs (when she knows they aren't going to take her food) and we are working on the cat thing.. Oh and did I mention she is completely house trained. Completely. If she needs to go out she stands by the back door. No accidents at all since day 1. She really is an awesome dog.. I just hope we can find her equally AWESOME people..
